“Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and run riots there, undigested, all your life.” -Swami Vivekananda
Today the role of an educational institution is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of this ever-changing global society. Established in 2007 Ch. Bansilal Govt. College for Women, Tosham has grown over the years to become a large entity accumulating layers of intellectual richness in scholastic and co-scholastic activities. Our worthy and dedicated staff have always envisaged an all- around and balanced education based on sound intellectual, physical, moral and social formation. The aim of the institution is to make students erudite, patriotic, law-abiding citizens, seeking excellence, with a deep concern for all sections of society. COVID-19 pandemic has surely altered and disrupted normal life across the world. We understand the challenges faced by the students, their parents and the teachers to cater to the academic needs during the closure of educational institutions and adapting to virtual learning. The diligence, motivation and determination to work, learn new instructions is worth appreciating. The college supports the individual well being of our girl students, who come from a rural background, devoid of all exposures, by providing them with an environment that allows them to thrive to perform their best in their studies as well as extra-curricular activities. The college seeks encouragement in the bright and successful careers of its students. Being a part of this journey of growth of both the students and the institution is an intellectually and emotionally fulfilling experience. I am pretty confident that Ch. Bansilal Govt. College for women will reach greater heights of excellence in the days to come and attract more students from nearby places.
